The graphical user interface of Windows 7 is similar to Windows Vista, glass-like interface design (known as Windows Aero) is available in all versions of Windows 7 (except the Starter Edition). Windows 7 (the successor to Windows Vista) was released to the public on October 22, 2009, and was more successful than Windows Vista. General information from Windows 7 (for all editions) Service Pack 1 included ISO, and Edition N are available in the download. Features and programs such as Windows Aero, Multi-touch, Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center, Encrypting File System, Offline files, BitLocker are not available in this edition. The Windows 7 Starter comes with just a few limited features compared to all other editions. The maximum RAM support by Starter Edition (32-bit) is 2 GB, while the 64-bit version is not available. Unlike Windows Vista Starter and Windows XP Starter, this is not limited to running 3 apps at a time, users can run unlimited applications. Starter Edition is a lightweight version of Windows 7 which is designed for low-end computers.
